THE VISION FOR LOUGHEED VILLAGE is a vibrant connected community with new modern outdoor amenities. This includes the retention of the four existing rental buildings on-site and the addition of three new rental buildings, all anchored by extensive landscaping and outdoor residential amenities. With the construction of 1,467 new homes, Lougheed Village will expand to include a total of 1,995 much-needed rental homes in close proximity to the Lougheed Town Centre Skytrain Station.

Community Connectivity

Lougheed Village proposal includes a multi-use trail connecting Salish Court to Erickson Drive and Cameron Elementary School, as well as a pedestrian pathway around the entire perimeter of the property. The development design will allow public access from neighbouring communities on all sides of the development to and from the existing network of trails and parkways.

The most notable transformation will be the new landscaping and residential amenities throughout the entire property. This includes the creation of new outdoor open spaces, children’s play areas, outdoor community trellis & picnic area, public art, and opportunities for new urban agriculture through the creation of community gardens, and ample areas to sit and connect with family and friends.
